Extremely happy to finally get to vacation in Japan after over 2 years of not being able to visit my current favorite country. Japan has opened its borders to Filipino tourists and I was super excited to visit that I secured my visa the soonest I read about the good news. Traveling during a pandemic, it’s really great to be able to complete arrival procedure conveniently. And it’s possible to get through Customs, Quarantine and Immigration counters swift and easy (in as fast as 10 minutes) at select Japan Airport when you visit VisitJapanWeb, and fill out 3 forms for (1) Quarantine (2) Customs Declaration and (3) Immigration at least t 3 days before planned departure to Japan.
First, you need to register for an account with an email address. Application needs verification so be sure you have access to the email you used for registration.
Then you’ll be instructed to fill out forms for quarantine, customs declaration and immigration.
(A) Quarantine
The quarantine procedure has 3 forms to fill out –
(1)Passport (2) Questionnaire (3) Vaccination Certificate
Be prepared with photos of your (1) passport information page and (2) your Yellow Passport/ Vaccination Certificate (Personal information page + Vaccination Page stitched into one photo) because you’ll need to attach both on the form.

When the status for passport and Questionnaire shows “completed” and Vaccination Certificate shows “Review complete,” you’ll get a Completed Pre-departure Quarantine Pass you need to show before departure and upon arrival in Japan Airport.
(B) Immigration
Fill out and accomplish the online Disembarkation Card for quick Immigration procedure. After registering, you’ll be issued a QR Code you’ll need to show and scan at the immigration counter.
(C) Customs Declaration
Fill out declaration of Personal Effects and unaccompanied Articles. You’ll also be issued a QR Code which you need to scan exiting the airport.
Be sure to get a travel insurance with COVID Coverage of at least P1.5M. You may also put your travel insurance information with the contact person in case of emergency on the form just below customs declaration tab.
TIP: It would be convenient to take a screenshot of the Immigration, Customs Declaration and Quarantine QR codes with the Quarantine Pre-departure Pass.

The Fast-track procedure for quarantine is available in all Japan airports, while online pre-arrival registration for Customs Declaration and Immigration are available only at the following airports:

(4) Naha Airport
(5) Haneda Airport
(6) Chubu Centrair International Airport
(7) New Chitose Airport
