Cebu Creators Circle Extends Help to Brgy. Bongdo Gua Earthquake Victims
After the strong earthquake that recently shook Cebu — with its epicenter in Bogo City — hundreds of families in Brgy. Bongdo Gua, Borbon found themselves displaced and uncertain as well. The quake left 28 houses totally destroyed and 297 partially damaged, forcing many residents to set up makeshift tents along the roadside out of fear of returning home due to continuous aftershocks.

In the spirit of Bayanihan, the Cebu Creators Circle (CCC) organized an outreach program last October 19, 2025, to bring much-needed relief and hope to the affected community. Through collective effort and the generosity of friends, followers, and partners, CCC raised enough funds to purchase essential building materials — including roofing sheets, nails, and lumber — to help families begin rebuilding their homes.
The visit to Brgy. Bongdo Gua was filled with both emotion and gratitude. Seeing the resilience of the residents reminded everyone that true strength lies in unity — in showing up for one another when it matters most. For many, it wasn’t just about replacing what was lost, but restoring a sense of safety, dignity, and belonging.
The Cebu Creators Circle extends its deepest thanks to everyone who donated and supported this initiative. Every contribution, no matter how small, made a big difference. Together, we were able to help rebuild not just houses — but hope. 💛
