Hi, I’m Andrew “Doyzkie” Buenaviaje, a Cebuano storyteller, entrepreneur, content creator, and forever-curious explorer who’s always on the lookout for good food, great trips, and stories worth sharing.
When I’m not eating my way around Cebu or getting lost somewhere on a trip, I wear a few other hats! I’m the Proprietor of FYR Socials, a Cebu-based PR, marketing, and events agency; the CEO of AMPED Travel Corp.; and the Founding President of Cebu Creators Circle, a non-profit community bringing Cebu’s creators together to learn, collaborate, and make an impact.
I’ve been sharing stories in print and online for over a decade, and somehow, I still get excited every time I discover a hidden café, try something ridiculously good, hop on a plane, or find a place that makes me say, “You guys need to see this!”
That’s what Doyzkie the Explorer is all about.
This little corner of the internet is where I share my travels, food finds, Cebu discoveries, random adventures, and real experiences, the places worth visiting, the dishes worth ordering, and all the fun (and occasional chaos!) in between.
