Loboc River Cruise: A Must-Do Experience in Bohol
Bohol has always been one of my favorite travel destinations, and I’ve visited countless times. From its world-famous Chocolate Hills to the adorable tarsiers, there’s always something to love about this island. But despite my many trips here, I somehow never got around to experiencing the Loboc River Cruise—until recently. And let me tell you, I’ve been missing out!

A Relaxing Journey Through Nature
The Loboc River Cruise isn’t just about sightseeing—it’s about slowing down, taking in the beauty of nature, and enjoying a feast while gently floating down a scenic river. The moment I stepped onto the floating restaurant, I knew this was going to be a special experience. The boat was spacious, open-air, and beautifully set up for a relaxing ride.

As we sailed down the emerald-green waters of the Loboc River, I was immediately taken in by the lush greenery surrounding us. Towering palm trees lined the riverbanks, and the peaceful sound of the water created the perfect backdrop for a laid-back cruise.
Buffet Dining with a View
One of the highlights of the cruise is the buffet lunch, which features a delicious spread of local Filipino dishes. From fresh seafood and grilled meats to local delicacies like pancit and puso rice, the food was both comforting and satisfying. Eating while taking in the view of the river made it even more enjoyable.
Cultural Performances & Warm Hospitality
Midway through the cruise, we stopped by a floating platform where a group of locals in traditional attire welcomed us with live music and folk dances. It was such a heartwarming experience! The performers were full of energy, inviting guests to join in on the dancing and clapping along to the beat. It was a beautiful way to experience Bohol’s rich culture and warm hospitality.
If you’re visiting Bohol, I highly recommend adding the Loboc River Cruise to your itinerary. It’s a unique and relaxing experience that allows you to appreciate the natural beauty and culture of Bohol in a completely different way. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or someone like me who has been to Bohol multiple times, this cruise is definitely worth doing at least once.
So if you find yourself in Bohol, don’t make the same mistake I did—book that Loboc River Cruise and enjoy every moment of it!
