A 4 Day, 3 Night DIY Hong Kong Adventure Fit for a Disney Prince or Princess

I, together with fellow Klook Kreators, recently pulled off a DIY getaway that felt straight out of a fairytale. Here’s how I spent four days and three nights in Hong Kong, balancing adventure, convenience, and just the right amount of magic. ✨ This HK itinerary is perfect for first time Hong Kong travelers with just a long weekend to spare.

Day 1: Arrival & Sky-high Sunset Views
The journey began with a smooth Cathay Pacific flight from Cebu to Hong Kong. To stay connected and prepared, I prebooked a 5-day eSIM with 1GB of data per day and 5-day travel insurance via Klook. Having these set up beforehand made the trip stress-free.

Upon landing, our airport transfers (also prebooked) took us straight to The Perkin Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui. The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring—right in the heart of TST, surrounded by malls, bars, and a short walk to the MTR. (Click photo to book and use my code DOYZKIEKLOOK to save 5% more)

After settling in, we headed to Sky100 to take in the panoramic view of Hong Kong and caught the stunning sunset from 100 floors up. 🌇 Watching the city light up from above was the perfect way to kick off the adventure. (Click photo to book and use my code DOYZKIEKLOOK to save 3% more)

Day 2: Disneyland Magic
Day two was pure magic at Hong Kong Disneyland. Whether you’re a fan of the rides, the characters, or just the enchanting atmosphere, the park didn’t disappoint. We enjoyed the Momentous Fireworks Show at night, a spectacular end to a day full of adventure and nostalgia. (Click photo to book and use my code DOYZKIEKLOOK to save 3% more)

Day 3: Ocean Park & Char Siu Feast
The morning began with a visit to Ocean Park, an amusement park that blends thrill rides with wildlife experiences. After exploring, we took a break at Harbour City Mall for a coffee at Cupping Room. (Click photo to book and use my code DOYZKIEKLOOK to save 3% more)

From there, we headed to Central via ferry to grab a bite at the Michellin Guide Yat Lok—famous for its charsiu. 🍖 The roast pork was tender, juicy, and worth the trip!

Day 4: Shopping & Egg Tart Treats
Our last day was all about shopping. Since we were based in Tsim Sha Tsui, we took full advantage of the proximity to K11 Art Mall for some unique shopping finds. We wrapped up the trip with a stop at Bakehouse for their legendary egg tarts. 🥐 Flaky, buttery, and oh-so-delicious, they were the perfect send-off from Hong Kong.

Before lining up for immigration or checking in your luggage at the airport counters, we had one last surprise—there’s a Pop Mart at Hong Kong International Airport! Perfect for grabbing those adorable collectibles to end the trip on a high note.

This DIY trip had all the elements of a dream vacation—beautiful views, thrilling theme parks, delicious food, and easy, preplanned logistics. With Klook, Hong Kong makes you feel like royalty without the splurge. 👑
