Southside’s Newest Creative Force: Cebu Creators Circle Takes Off!

The creative scene in Cebu just got even more exciting with the launch of Cebu Creators Circle, a dynamic new community bringing together some of the best talents from the South! This passionate group of over 50 creatives, ranging from seasoned creators to fresh new voices, is united by a shared vision: to elevate the creator game in Cebu and beyond.

On March 29, 2025, the Cebu Creators Circle officially kicked off its journey with its very first Welcome Party & Induction Ceremony at Mezzo Hotel. The event marked a milestone moment as the newly inducted officers and members gathered to celebrate the start of this exciting movement.

The Welcome Party was more than just a formal induction—it was a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and new beginnings. Attendees connected over shared passions with fellow creators and industry leader advisors, exchanged insights, and set the stage for future projects that will put Cebu’s creative scene in the spotlight.

During the ceremony I, Andrew “Doyzkie” Buenaviaje, was inducted as Founding President, alongside Vice President Doc Xavier Solis with the Founding Board Issa Perez Gandionco (who’s also a co-founder), Mary Catherine “Claire” Codilla, Alexine “Ching” Sadaya, Chennie Montero, Joymie Arnaiz, Vee Jay Aragon, Johanna Marie, and Neil Savellon by Creators and Influencers Council of the Philippines President Jel Directo. This powerhouse team is set to lead the community towards greater opportunities and stronger collaborations.

Industry leader advisors shared their thoughts as well, giving inspiration to all founding members. “Tonight is not just a celebration but is a signal that Cebu is ready to be known as the Creative Capital of the Philippines,” mentioned Cebu Chamber of Commerce President Mr. Jay Yuvallos.
